This is a well established footpath including local information billboards and sculptures between Horncastle and Woodhall Spa known as the 'Spa Trail'. It joins the Viking Way just before Woodhall Spa....

I've walked this route in sections over the past couple of years and can confirm it is a reasonably good walk with a mixture of footpaths and quiet roads. The latter part before Horncastle follows the 'Spa Trail' which is a well maintained footpath between Horncastle and Woodhall Spa. There also two pubs for refreshments along the way: Bluebell Inn at Tattershall Thorpe and the Ebrington Arms at Kirkby on Bain....

No hills but a gate on leaving golf course which will make wheel chair access problematic...

Cuts through the world class golf course at Woodhall Spa. Interesting sculptures along the way. Easy path to follow and facilities at both Woodhall Spa and Horncastle....
