Help connect Gillingham
Many Slow Ways have several route options. Some will be better than others, or good for different reasons.
Our goal is for each Slow Way to have at least one route that is verified and surveyed. To be verified – and get its snail badge – a route needs at least three positive reviews.

Near the end of the walk I crossed the road bridge onto Sheppey and went down onto the marsh across what seems to be a grassy field but is in fact very wet under foot. There are also steps up where the field path meets Old Ferry Road at Swale. These include Lower Rainham Road and Horsham Lane between the Orchard View estate and Upchurch....

Lots of tracks in Great Lines Heritage Park which don't necessarily correspond to the route but the route was very walkable all the same. Great views from the top of the park near the Naval Memorial....
