I split this route in 2, on the first day walking South Molton to Molland, and then on to Dulverton for the 2nd day. Between Molland and Dulverton the route is more hilly, but once you get up to the top of Bedlake Lane there is a fairly level lane walk along a ridge until the descent in to Dulverton....

Walk this routeA beautiful walk encompassing the best of Exmoor. Stunning scenery across the moor, beside the river and through woods. Thoroughly enjoyable....

At the time of my walk and until December 2024 some of this walk is closed due to the construction of a new bridge. I have walked the original riverside walk to Tarr Steps and can vouch for it being a great walk for when it re-opens....

A good option to DULTIV(two) which utilizes the Tiverton Old Road for much of its length between Bampton and Tiverton. Unfortunately although not heavy on traffic many locals use that road as a fast alternative to the main road in the valley and so drice accordingly....

Now that the building work appears to have finished on the Farleigh Meadows estate at Tiverton. The walk through here has been reinstated and it is no longer necessary to walk along the Rackenford Road at this point. I have included a screenshot of the route through this estate below....

This is a good walk using a chunk of the Two Moors way then deviating off to Dulverton. Instead go left and walk 150 yds down the hill, then take the grassy path to the right and walk along parallel to the river....

A very pretty route with a couple of steep climbs and a few styles. Lovely views from the trig point and it's downhill from there!...

Bring insect repellent in the summer as there were plenty of biters out there when we walked it in June!...

Lovely section along river Barle, followed by a steep stony climb where there are great views of Exmoor. Some quiet country lanes on the way to Winsford, a pretty village on route which is ideal for a lunch or coffee break....

There are some areas where there are loose stones, tree roots and steep paths, so care must be taken....

A lovely walk, mostly along marked footpaths, bridleways and some sections along very quiet country lanes. The hilly sections provide stunning views over the Exmoor. No stiles along the route, just gates and kissing gates....

It starts with a fairly steep climb out of Dulverton in a shaded wooded area before crossing fields and moorland before a steep decent to Tarr Steps. The route departs the river for a while before rejoining it close to Cow Castle....
