I've walked this route in sections over the past couple of years and can confirm it is a reasonably good walk with a mixture of footpaths and quiet roads. The latter part before Horncastle follows the 'Spa Trail' which is a well maintained footpath between Horncastle and Woodhall Spa. There also two pubs for refreshments along the way: Bluebell Inn at Tattershall Thorpe and the Ebrington Arms at Kirkby on Bain....

Although route is fine between Coningsby and Tattershall Thorpe, the rest of the route to Woodhall Spa follows a busy road that has no safe pedestrian allocation....

Largely along fast, busy roads wholly unsuitable for pedestrians....

As far as I am aware, the section of this route between Kirkstead Bridge and Marsh Lane (along the old railway) is not publically accessible. Otherwise would be an eccellent route between Woodhall Spa and Coningsby....
