A short walk through a residential area, and we're back along the brook, paved in some places, but mostly an earthern, and sometimes muddy, path that brings us out at Newton-le-Willows station....

One recommendation: you don't have to leave Lea Green station via the route given; theres direct access to Marshalls Cross Road from the station....
