The route is predominantly on the disused railway line which used to service the RAF bases and the villages. All Saints Church in Bubwith just off the route has memorabilia from the former Airfields....

South Leaving Bubwith Village until you turn along side the stream. Continue until you intersect with the Rail Trail, a disused railway. Amble along the trail under the trees until you reach the old Holme on Spalding moor station, now Station Farm....
