Keeping the wall on your right, Ryecroft Road at Harden was reached with a now urban walk down through Harden and up the the entrance of the St Ives Estate. Continuing on eventually following the footpath signs for Low Park, the tarmac road out of the estate towards Bingley is reached. The Slow Way route says to continue down the road to the Brown Cow pub and cross the Ireland Bridge into Bingley....

Starting off at the junction of Thornton Road & Kipping Lane, It is easy to find the start of West Lane by the Black Horse pub. West Lane continues up to the Back Lane junction, to the left of the house there is the start of the walk through the fields negotiating several stiles, stoops and gates down to Pitty Beck. This bit of road walking can be avoided by turning right down Allerton Road to an unsigned right of way on the left (just past the signed right of way on the right) which going through the stoop in the wall leads to the start of Bob Lane....

As noted in another review, you can improve the route by cutting onto the canal from the bridge by the station. I prefer to follow Morton Beck than the footpath running nearly parallel to this, but either one works....

There is a pub and a shop at Long Lee, towards Keighley, and there are benches at Long Lee Crick Club just before there. The final footpath down to the bridge under the railway had a bonus view of the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway....

A more scenic route is to follow the route from Bingley and joining the Canal towpath, on the gap on gasoline ally, off park road rather than going through park road....

The remainder of the route is on rubble fill tow path or foot way back to the streets of Bingley. A very pleasant route that I have given 4 stars only because of stiles and steps on the route....

The route leaves Bingley Station past a big supermarket on over a footbridge to access the canal towpath. Unfortunately, the bridge to leave the canal has a flight of steps before crossing the canal itself....

The first third of this route is along busy main roads, but the remainder is all along the canal, and makes up for this. The step-free footbridge from the Bingley Three Rise a bit further on, leads onto the main road into Bingley....

I walked this route with a group of 15, and found it quite an easy walk....

Lovely walk varied scenery and environment , just one bit through the woods where we had some trouble finding the path....
Turn immediate right through gate up cobbled path into Park Wood (sign to be erected here)....

A couple of sections are on the road; there's no pavement on Old Allen Road, but walking down through Wilsden is on the main street which has pavement on both sides of the roads....

Jane Timperley added Keibin three, a new walk from Keighley to Bingley
Walk this routeRoute is not suitable for wheels as there are steps and uneven paths and cobbles, kiss gates and steep inclines. I would recommend a route along the canal as an alternative. Great views on this route and enjoyable but hard to navigate in Keighley itself and when almost at Bingley due to the number of paths around....
Jane Timperley
Upland route with spectacular views mostly on public footpaths. If you start at Denholme probably about 80% of route is downhill, starting Bingley 80% uphill, sometimes steep. Refreshments available approx halfway at Wilsden....
Howieland
Straightforward, flat, easy to navigate walk along the canal towpath....
