Latest Updates
The best part was arriving at Batley, where there are several fine public buildings provided by wealthy 19th century mill owners for the benefit of the residents. I also enjoyed a fine pint at the Batley Taproom on the road to the railway station....

A country path leads to a railway crossing (bridge). After the bridge there are a couple of houses, the route goes left along the road towards the railway tunnel, then just before the tunnel take the clear path on the right up the hill (3rd photo)....
