Really enjoyed this walk, the first third was within the City and suburbs but once onto Roundhay Park it was very pleasant thereon in. Didn't have any problems navigating out of Roundhay Park in the wooded area at the Northern end, care was needed crossing the busy road though. Bus service back into Leeds from Bardsey is regular and took me straight back into the centre....

From the high level information used at the initial route selection it was probably difficult to see that the two paths did not match in elevation in the wood area to the North of Roundhay park....

At Harewood the route passes trough the entrance to Harewood house which has gates that can be locked. See the alternative Harebar route to avoid this....

Long sections off roads and road sections have mostly footways with one section of verge walking. This route is identical to Harebar one except it avoids the entrance to Harewood house which has gates that can be locked....
