Lovely route, especially on a nice and sunny day! There is a wide footpath and also cycle path, only issue I found really is lack of toilets along the route as it's probably a mile from the Dome until the next public toilets which is unfortunate, otherwise a great route for everybody :).

Lovely route along the sea front connecting Shoreham to Worthing - very scenic and enjoyable! Worth going a little further to see the quirky houseboats along the river Adur adjacent to sea at Shoreham!.

I walked this route from Shoreham to Worthing on Friday morning 20th August. It's a gentle promenade along the coast on paved surfaces all the way, completely flat with plenty of cafes, public loos and benches to rest. I really enjoyed this walk, and everybody I met along the way was smiling and cheerful too. I'd say this ticks all the Slow Ways accessibility boxes. It maybe doesn't have a wow factor, but its a very nice walk. Very easy to follow on the ground. The tracing on the map is a bit wonky, but it doesn't matter. The Slow Way is shared with National Cycle Network route 2, and is a popular bike path. Sometimes having eyes in the back of your head would be helpful.

This is a very enjoyable route, passing along next to the sea at most points. It is accessible and has public toilets and refreshments en route. We met a lady cleaning the beach at Lancing and admired Nellie the Fish, a sculpture at Lancing Beach made of recycled metal, hollow to allow people to add the rubbish they collect from the beach and green. The route is very near to a busy road for about 15-20 minutes between the East side of Worthing and Lancing. I will investigate an alternative route and post it if I can find one, however, the route along the roadside is the most direct. We travelled back to Worthing Pier on the 700 Coastliner bus from Shoreham High Street, on the top deck, great fun!.

Really enjoyed this route. Fully accessible. Plenty of public toilets on route (i noticed 3) and also a fair few places for refreshments. I would recommend taking the footpath on to the beach though at the Shoreham end, it is a special surface which is wheel friendly with passing points which i hope you can see from my photos.
