Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

03 Jun 2023Most of the route is decent and off road, but some footpaths have been closed. Around Drakes Broughton building work means the footpath is blocked off and has been for at least 2 years now. There are alternatives, either further north through Drakes Broughton or along the footpath by the side of the busy road.

Walked Pershore to Worcester
A good route, reasonably direct and safe, but a few sections need to be changed due to access issues.
Rough paths in a lot of places, steps and styles too.
A few parts of the route were inaccessible.
A building site has closed a path in Drakes Broughton.
Between Drakes Broughton and Stoulton a footpath is crossed by a couple of electric fences so had to follow the road around a field.
The field behind the Retreat pub has no gate and is overgrown and work on the rail line has closed a footpath that crosses the track. Take a detour through Littleworth to avoid these.
