26 Nov 2024I walked this route from Dalston to Wood Green.
Ther area around Dalston Junction itself is pretty uninspiring. However, once you get settled into the route, it’s got plenty of quiet streets.
The streets to Stoke Newington are well favoured by cyclists and are not busy.
Stoke Newington itself provides lots of cafés/restaurants on the way
Clissold Park was a lovely sunny scene on a cool afternoon. Lots of people enjoying various activities from dog walking to tennis and with a well used kids park.
.The next section is along Greenlanes which I am guessing hasn’t lived up to its name for some 100 years. A small detour into Finsbury Park would make some 300 m of the walk along the busy Greenlanes nicer.
The Harringay passage section is an interesting feature of the walk. It is a narrow walkway between rows of terrace housing. It seemed quite closed in and seemingly unending. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well used it was. I was a little bit wary at first but it was fine and pleasant enough.

21 Jun 2024While the gradients are easy, there is too much roadside walking. Of interest is the Haringay Passage but some wheelchair users may struggle due to deny access bollards placing very central. Best part of route is within Clissold Park. Subject to future review, Woodal two would have less significant road walking. High spot on this route is a Victorian Postbox in excellent condition.

01 May 2021An urban walk. Around 60% Residential, 35% through main road, 5% through a park.
Therefore, it is not the most pleasant walk (the section on the main road) but the parks and residential bits are fine.
There are some alleyways to go through in the residential area, but they are lit and well used by locals.
Very good transport links, and food, drinks on the way are easy to find.
