This is a good walk using a chunk of the Two Moors way then deviating off to Dulverton. Quite a bit of up and down.

The first half has a couple of bits of road/lane walking but these are traffic lite and not a problem. Great pub at Knowstone (Mason’s Arms).

Second half is a really nice walk culminating in the drop into Dulverton. However we encountered a real problem at 7 miles out from Knowstone, near a place called Chilcott. The path disappears completely! The reason, we think, is that ferns have sprung up and completely obscured the path. To get through at the moment, DON’T try going to the right and through the field, as suggested by the app. Instead go left and walk 150 yds down the hill, then take the grassy path to the right and walk along parallel to the river. After about 400 yds you’ll find the bridge across the river and you’ll be back on the trail.

A longer walk than WITDUL one, using paths, rather than road. Great views and generally a well waymarked route. A long road section along the Two Moors Way, but quiet.
