Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

24 Nov 2021Scratching my head a bit over this one as it is a good walk marred by three quarters of a kilometre of what seems to me to be unnecessary road walking between the village of Doynton and the edge of Wick. The road is fine. It's not particularly busy and there is a wide verge along most of it, but there is a more enjoyable off-road alternative just across the fields to the west which gives better views of the country around and adds very little to the length of the route.
Also, a minor accuracy problem with the suggested route through Marshfield. Part of it doesn't actually exist, although it is very easy to find other ways into/out of the village.
I will post a slightly altered route which I think is better and write a fuller review of that.
