Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

30 May 2023This time i headed for the end of this route and it is a small tarmacced country lane leading into the village of whittlesea. there isn't a car park here though. Just maybe a space or two on the kerbside. There is a small nature reserve to visit too. but not accessable on mobility scooter with kissing gate and style. Its alonger walk into the town center for the bus and refreshments.

18 May 2023I live in march so starting from march. You progress through the west end park on good pathways. Then instead of going straight on I will take the river crossing out of the park at riverside and proceed left through housing streets. Reaching the roundabout on the A141 and cross over straight to the turves road.
This change is because the crossing over the A141 is not very safe. Abusy A road and no path as such. You can do it if you are of good mobility. The path is not suitable for mobility scooters.
The proceed down turning left on the road which is a smallish road, then join the original route further along.
