06 May 2022This is a lovely route, but I don't want to verify because the approaches to the end stations on both ends are incorrectly plotted! I figure it's worth having an accurate route, so I've uploaded slightly more accurate alternative.

19 Feb 2022I walked this from London Bridge to Waterloo. It was a little complicated to navigate from London Bridge station to the river as GPS under buildings does not work. Along the river it was great, with lovely views of the Thames and the buildings around it.
On the Waterloo side, the drawn route is a little complicated as it shows the line on the wrong side of the tracks between the river and Belvedere Street (Festival Terrace).
There are two ways to get up onto Festival Terrace, one with steps (north side of rail way tracks) or with a ramp on the south side. Unfortunately on the west side, there are only steps. That's why I am marking it as a "4".

17 Sep 2021Note that the routes Waterloo-London Bridge (Watlon) and Waterloo-Monument (Watmon) are identical for about 90% of their length. Consequently, this review is for both of them.
As with nearby routes Charing Cross to Monument, and London Bridge to Monument, this short route provides spectacular views of the riverscape. The Shard, Shakespeare's Globe, and the Tate Modern art gallery are just a few of the attractions along this stretch of the river. I didn't upload any photos as they couldn't do it justice.
The only tricky part is where the route leaves London Bridge heading west. The official route lines cut directly from the Bridge to Montague Close and Cathedral Street, but in fact access is slightly further South via Green Dragon Court (steps) or Bedale Street (for wheels).
