Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

24 Feb 2022This route uses the B3226 and B3227. Both are narrow quite busy roads with many bends with a lack of verges. I will not attempt to walk all this route as there are altenatives using more minor roads. Probably further but safer. I will try some of them out before suggesting one. From eastacott cross you can head on minor roads for Meethe. Cross B3226 and almost opposite take turning for George Nympton. Then turn left coming out at honiton cross and pick up route as marked at Ford down lane. The footpath is now accesible.

26 Jun 2021Footpath closed in South Molton, long-term due to building works. Route uses fast and dangerous roads for than half of the journey. Route takes you through two farms on a track which is not a public right of way.
