Description
This is a slight improvement on the West side of the King Harry ferry that takes you around Trellesick Gardens rather than on the road. There is still some road walking to the East but at least you know the traffic is only coming from the ferry every 30 minutes

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

20 May 2023This is a great walk - we walked today from St Mawes to Truro.
I agree with all the previous comments about the road walking. Today we had no problems, and the road was very quiet - but there are definitely a few bits where it wild have been uncomfortable to have met a car.
The only other part they caused us a minor amount of confusion was after the King Harry Ferry. You have to walk further up the hill to find the track than the gpx would have you believe. We explored a few other likely looking paths before finding the (obvious) correct one - the Trelissick Woodland Walk.
All worth it though - we had a lovely afternoons walking.

16 May 2023Having walked Trustm One, this has a slight improvement as has been mentioned - on leaving the ferry heading towards Truro it avoids the road. As has also been mentioned there is some road walking on the Roseland side of the King Harry Ferry, plus I found there were two points between St Mawes and St Just in Roseland where it was useful to have the GPS info to check direction.
Otherwise I think this is a wonderful Slow Way. Beautiful views of the sea and estuary, and countryside, plus the wonderful bonus of a free ride on the King Harry Ferry! Excellent. 12 May 2023.

14 Oct 2022Ancient woodland, marvellous sites and roads without pavements.
The recommendation for this walk, which is probably my favourite slow-way so far, is caveated that about a quarter of it is on roads without pavements. They are, however, relatively quiet, particularly on the approach and exit from the ferry. It's also a lot of up and down, which I enjoyed a lot, but not everyone's cup of tea.

29 Sep 2022This is an improvement to Trustm one missing out the road walking to the West of the King Harry ferry. It is a lovely route that generally follows Sustrans route 3 or the Southwest Coastal path to St Mawes. It is mainly off-road or along quiet lanes with the only section on the road being a couple of km the other side of the ferry. I can't see an alternative route and it is doable on a well lit day but not recommended at night.
A 4 / 5 star route apart from the road walking section so I have marked it down.
