Description

I have yet to walk, survey, and review Trodev one, but the route I have compiled is suitable for pushchairs and mobility scooters along its whole length. The walked route is recorded by GPS at 11.50 mi, so the same as Trodev one, without stiles, cows etc.
The route followed goes from Trowbridge Town Centre, past Sainsburys, along Canal Rd, joining the canal towpath, this is all paved lit. The unlit towpath continues all the way to Devizes, where when leaving the towpath becomes paved lit again.
The towpath surface is compacted hardcore with a grit topping

This route is ideal for people with mobility issues, or walking with a pushchair. It follows lit pavement, or unlit paved ( hardcore/grit ) canal towpath for the whole route.
Zero stiles, cows, horses, crops etc etc.
It has a number of pubs/ shops/ bus stops/ phone boxes either on the route, or within 0.50 mi off the route.
