05 Dec 2024I walked this route from Streatham to Tooting.
It is shorter and more direct than Toostr one, though the down side is you miss out on some parks!
Turning right out of the station is a large Tesco’s where you can stop to obtain any nourishment you might need
Not long after, you go through a section that does seem to entail going underneath quite a lot of railway lines.
After the railway lines, the walk is almost exclusively along quiet residential roads.
An easy uneventful walk.

01 Apr 2024Walked Tooting to Streatham.
Good urban route, very accurate!
Some steps to an underpass - the underpass itself was the only slightly grotty part of the route.
Not a long route, but there are still refreshments on the way, and generally it’s all a very pleasant South London connection.

05 Mar 2024I walked from Streatham to Tooting.
This is perhaps not the prettiest walk but it is quick, direct, easy to navigate along quieter suburban roads with good pavements. Steps on a railway underpass.
Not an ugly walk either, some nice buildings, tree lined streets, no dodgy road crossings and a lively high street all keep it interesting.
A good way to get between these urban centres.
