Description
This route passes to the south of Tildol1 and for most of its route follows the River Devon Trail. I have mapped the main route but there are various options for walking closer to the River Devon if you want to get a closer look at the sandmartins and flower filled riverside meadows. The route leaves Tilli in the direction of Sterling Mills and then turns off east to follow paths that wind their way across grassland, through woodland past the old mine and then down to the valley bottom to finish the route of a short section of path adjacent to the river. It makes a nice circular with either Tildo1 or Tildol2. The Glenfarg community bus no.23 also connects the two ends for anyone who prefers a shorter walk. Unfortunately not a route for wheelers
