Brian
25 Jul 2022Whilst the route is across country, there are a few challenging sections, where it does not follow the tracks on Ordnance Survey map, these include a new housing estate.
Difficulties
a ) SU 24594 51315 : two wire electric fences
b ) From the above to SU 24548 51293 is deep scrub / long grass, and there is no obvious path
c ) SU 24449 51180 Do not turn right into field, to follow route as mapped, continue along the obvious route on the ground
d ) SU 24156 49799 Again do not try to follow the route as mapped, follow the track on the ground, coming out on the A3026 next to the new roundabout. This avoids the near impossible section adjacent to the new housing estate.
I have created Tidlud three to take these adjustments into account.
