Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

29 Aug 2021Not a full review, however some information which might be useful to anyone planning to walk this route.
There are significant HS2 related works in the vicinity of west Aylesbury and many paths are closed until 2024, including the path in this slow way. A diversion is in place. For more details, see
https://www.stokemandevilleparishcouncil.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/1MC12-EKF-IN-MRC-CS04-000210-Hawkslade-RoW-July-21.pdf
This slow way uses the SBH/34/1 route shown in the map on page 2 of the above PDF, which is closed. I have attached a map of the diversion (as of August 2021) in case the PDF is removed.
