Description
This is a great way to walk between Talgarth and Hay-on-Wye.
It is very similar to Talhay One, but is edited to address a couple of official changes to footpaths.
The route includes some walking on lanes that some people may not enjoy, but is otherwise a solid and enjoyable route

02 Jun 2022I loved walking so much of this route and I'm sure you will too. Some great countryside and views to enjoy.
A chunk of the route is on a lane. I saw very few cars and the lane is fairly wide, but I can imagine some cars travelling quite quickly down it. I felt safe enough, others might not. The only reason I'm not giving this route five stars is because of the lanes.
I am sure there will be a slightly longer/slower way that will be far more off-road.
The path has been redirected around the north-west of Newcourt above Hay Forest. There's good signage from the National Park showing where to go.
