As after Piccadilly the access is restricted due to Firing Range times which i found out to my cost finding a Red flag flying so had to find an alternative route along a busy road with no footpath in parts and dangerous.
The Route is a very interesting taking you from the suburbs onto countryside paths to Middleton with Shop and Pub. Then onto Middleton Lakes RSPB and my choice along the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal to Kingsbury Water Park. Over the river Tame into Kingsbury with Shops, Pub and fish & chip shop on to Piccadilly for the walk across the shooting range to Wood End with Post Office and Co-op.
Good Slow Ways Route apart from the last part which i have now managed to walk with no shooting going on, but recommend following the track straight on which comes out at the same point only a bit muddy as foot path to the left is very overgrown with brambles. A very enjoyable walk for walkers only.
