Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

10 Feb 2024This route is a good route but there is a better one north up the Alver Valley which is grade 2 and accessible.
It has the advantage of going off road through some beautiful countryside to get to Stubbington.
This new route Stugos 2 needs adding, whereupon a group of volunteers from Gosport Labour Party and the Rainbow Bar Community Archaeology project will survey and review it.

03 May 2021 (edited 27 Jun 2023)Much of the route is shared cycle path so good for cycling and/or wheelchair access. As the route hugs the coastline its pavements or roads all the way although you could walk along the promenade in places. Not the most exciting route although the view of the sea and Isle of Wight are lovely. There are public toilets available twice on this route.
