Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

25 Aug 2023Route is in the main easy to navigate and traverse. Only issue identified is the barmby moor to yapham crossing, in particular the two fields that need to be walked across.
For field '1' from the end of flat lane to black dike it was at the time of this review overgrown - follow the ditch on the right and at its end cross the middle of the field following the crop boundaries (if in season) and black dike can be identified by the treeline and field converging in the corner. Shortly after field '2' has a public right of way but is obscured by high crops as seen in a below photo - no obvious path so I recommend instead of wading through one hugs the crop outline to the end staying to the left and you will hit a hedgerow which you can follow and leads you out onto feoffee lane. This section poses accessibility issues but may well be different outside of summer.

30 May 2023Ran this route in May 2023. The majority of the route is on road, and was easy to follow. Most roads were quiet and I felt safe negotiating them. There was a small portion of the route that required crossing a field with deep furrows, so probably not ideal for wheelchairs, buggies etc., otherwise should be accessible to most people.
