I only walked the southern half of this route as I was coming from Sherston and stayed at Westonbirt. This part of the route is mainly along the Tetbury road. Although it is marked as a minor road, there was quite a lot of traffic, and no pavements. Although it is quite wide, there are curves which reduce visibility, so at many points I did not feel safe. I was relieved to reach the grounds of Westonbirt school where I could at last enjoy the countryside! So I think this route needs to be reworked.
