Description
This route is virtually identical to Shepad One and Two but removes a small section that is not accessible. I've walked this route and enjoyed experiencing this diverse cross-section of London

18 Apr 2025I walked from Paddington to Shepherds Bush on a warm Good Friday.
A good and varied route between two busy places along relatively quiet streets.
Industrial history preserved in the buildings for the observant.
Step free, crossing the dual carriage way next to Westfield there's a slope one side and lifts the other.
Enjoyable walk.

22 Feb 2023Interesting urban walk with quite a range of streets and neighbourhoods, high streets and parks. Transport never far away. The park sections do close at dusk but are easily navigable around.

29 May 2022I walked this route from Paddington to Shepherds Bush. It's a great walk, with lots of benefits - there's a long stretch in the lovely Hyde Park, there are some lovely residential neighbourhoods and vibrant High Streets, several quiet open spaces, and any shop you could ever need at the Shepherds Bush end. This route could have been simply a straight shot down the big road, but it instead found a really nice collection of side streets and open spaces. It is, as a result, relatively indirect. As a walk between two points, however, it's a great one.
