Description
A walkable, safer version of Rugyox One. Leaving Rugeley to the north east via the Trent and Mersey Canal before emerging near Rugeley Trent Valley Railway Station. You walk through open countryside near Colton and make your way to the village of Hill Ridware where there is a pub/cantonese restaurant. You follow lanes to Pipe Ridware and then turn north and follow a track (avoiding a field which sometimes has a bull in it) up Hunger Hill. There is a little time to take in views before descending into Hamstall Ridware where there is another pub. More lane walking leads to a footpath and eventually more paths to Yoxall. This route is based on the walk I did when attempting Rugyox One
