Description
This route is broadly based on RetGai one. It is more accurately plotted throughout. The significant changes are (i) to use Top Pasture Lane east of North Wheatley rather than the field path which the first reviewer of RetGai one found impenetrable, (ii) to use the road to get to Bole, because I found the shortcut path blocked by brambles and (iii) to use the footpath around Bole Ings to join the Trent flood bank rather than the field path. This makes it a little longer but I had no problems with any of the paths when I test walked it
