Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

21 Sep 2022Easy-going route with some nice views of the river and fields. Mostly follows Marriott's Way so not a lot of traffic, just the odd bike. Good terrain most of the way but some bits can be a bit muddy when wet.
If you're going from Taverham to Reepham then Whitwell Station is a good stop near the end for food/drink (you can't miss it) or there's a shop and a pub in Lenwade which is about halfway through the route.

28 Sep 2021This is an excellent slow way connecting Reepham and Taverham. Almost the entire route is along the Marriotts Way so level, plenty of cyclists and dog walkers. Just outside Reepham is Whitwell Station with food, facilities and of course trains!
Nearer Norwich the path now crosses the NDR on a footbridge making this crossing of the dual carriageway one of the safest options for navigating this busy road. If merging this route with Tavnor then you can continue straight along the Marriott's Way at Breck Farm Lane rather than divert to the Taverham meeting point.
