Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

13 Feb 2022A very good route walked with some adaptions. The path leading to Carrine Common had a gate which was padlocked with no footpath sign. A bit further on there is a way across the Common which links up with the footpath.
At Trevu Farm we took the more direct road way to Twelveheads. The Bon Appetit Cafe there is excellent.
Shortly after Twelveheads we saw signs for the National Cycle Route No 3 and followed that to Redruth as time was short and the footpath more challenging to follow.
All in all a good walk, highly recommended.

27 Jun 2021Most of this route is well suited for walking.
However one section is blocked (completely overgrown) and is not a right of way. This starts at SW 719417.
It is straightforward to find an alternative route at this point if you have a map.
It is not suitable for wheelchairs.
There are 5 stiles.
Muddy in places, even in June
2 cafes at the halfway point and lots of interesting things to see.
