Description
This is broadly the same as RamGai one, but there are three places where I made corrections to make it easier to follow.
Firstly, where the path splits just north of Rampton, the more direct branch lacks stiles and is subject to a closure order.
Secondly, the route north of Cottam Road now sticks to rights of way rather than intruding in someone's garden.
Thirdly, I have clarified the route along Catchwater Drain which now stays on the east/south bank throughout, as my test walk encountered no obstacles to doing this and I was following footpath signs throughout. The old route crosses the drain in a place that has no bridge.
These tweaks should make the route easier to follow. I did consider cutting out the path through Sundown Adventureland as the road walk is easier to follow, but since the stiles are all still in place, I decided not to add any more road walking.
