I walked this on a dry, and slightly warm afternoon. It had just rained.

It's a pretty good walk, but as previous commenters have said, nothing special. The bridge was nicest, the busy stretch in Putney the least as it was so busy.

I agree with the earlier reviewer - this is a pleasant walk but there isn't a huge amount to comment on. The late Victorian housing around the middle of the route was the most notable thing for me.

I walked from Fulham to Putney.
A perfectly good route with a nice park and views across the Thames.
Nothing wrong with it, a pleasant walk, but equally nothing much of interest to comment on.
Fairly flat, good for wheels, nice wide pavements mostly. Bustling High Street shopping at either end.

This is a good Slow Way - reasonably direct, pleasant, and I would walk it again.
I walked from Putney to Fulham.

It starts by going along Putney High Street and crossing the Thames on Putney Bridge. The High Street has a lot of traffic, but it also has decent food and shops, and the advantage of this routing (as opposed to avoiding the High Street and using the footbridge over the Thames, which would be my preference) is that it is stair-free.

On the Fulham side of the river the route is about as good as it can be, using mostly quiet roads, touching base at Parsons Green, and making good use of Eel Brook Common (photo).

Accessibility - this route is step free, however access to Eel Brook Common has bike barriers one end and a steep ramp at the other end to negotiate.
