Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

21 Jan 2023Full disclosure: I haven't walked the whole route yet. However, when leaving Pudsey towards Stanningley/Farsley, the route crosses the Ring Road. This involves crossing four lanes of traffic and two slip roads - on a road where the speed limit is 70mph. The path down the embankment on the Pudsey side is also blocked by a fallen tree (pictured). Instead I crossed the road bridge 300m to the west.
Also, after the crossing, the route leads through a very unlovely industrial estate. Although it is technically along a road, I suspect walking down the B6155 from the bridge and down the railway would be much more pleasant. From there you can walk north to Westroyd Park, then east to join up with the route as marked.

01 May 2021Good walk, some nice views and Horsforth Hills was a bonus. Some paths nicer than others but overall paths where easy to find and were clear to
walk on.Just one main road to cross (by pass coming out of Pudsey) which was a little difficult with the traffic and speed of.
