Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

15 Jan 2023The majority of this route was safe, enjoyable and adheres to the Slow Way methodology. Unfortunately, there was one section where access to a public right of way was not possible. The path heading west from Forgue farm, south of Ladock was non-existent, so there was no way to continue on this route when heading from Indian Queens to Probus. We forged a new path of similar distance to Probus which worked well. I have uploaded ProInd2 with this correction and a few other minor amendments, mainly where rights of way cutting corners off roads seem to be either errors on the definitive map or blocked by landowners. Thanks to the author of ProInd1 for making an almost great route!.
