Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

STEPPERS UK
20 Mar 2022Fun and adventurous route however dangerous if done in bad weather.
We were lucky enough to have amazing weather so we were able to do the walk safely.
Some parts of the walk could be made easier and there are also parts where it's not accurate on the map.
Some rights of way are marked with signs that say 'Private land - no right of way' which if you use os you will know that's incorrect. Seems as though land owners do not want people to cross.
Walk is definitely a difficult one and not wheel or bike friendly.
The beginning part of the walk between Port Eynon and North Hills Farm are walking distance to oxich beach and three cliffs beach. Such a great stop.
Views are incredible. Plenty of pubs/Public toilets along the way.
There are also many bus stops to and from swansea.
One house you pass near southgate has some interactive ornaments and word puzzle you can play as you pass by. Nice pleasant surprise.
We rope swings - great to release your inner child.
Some parts of the walk cross a golfing range so be careful
Many stys to cross over and the final leg of the walk has cycling and walking lanes.
Many of the paths are not present/clear you have to figure it out. Without confident someone would probably turn back as it doesn't look like you walk through a lot of the places.
Overall great walk but not an easy one.
