10 Jun 2021A grid reference 294 567 this route is impassable due to a landslip in 2018. The road is not being repaired and has been closed ever since. So much of the road has washed away it is not safe for pedestrians to cross the landslip safely. See pictures.
Other than this major issue there is too much road walking along the edge of the extremely busy A87, the major road through Skye serving the ferry to the Western Isles. Heavy traffic and large vehicles use this road 24 hours a day!.

09 May 2023The above mentioned grid reference is likely the wrong way round - 567 294? I concur about the road walking though. I've driven this many times and wouldn't walk it.
