I walked this from Ramsey to Peterborough. The walk started through the streets but soon past parks and sports fields then out into the countryside. Once outside the town paths were on field edges and at the edge of houses. It soon changed to road walking which is why I have only given this two stars. The bulk of the route is beside busy B Roads where traffic is travelling quite fast. I was often stopping to get onto verge. Thee scenery was flat, agricultural land as far as the eye can see. There were occasional villages, farms and wind farms. With little to break the journey it became quite gruelling only getting more built up towards the end as you approach Peterborough. Actually walking into and through the centre of the city was more interesting.
