21 May 2024I haven’t walked this so I’ve giving it a Maybe rather than failing it, but my friend who lives in Penrith says that cars drive along this road at 60mph. It has no pavement. The route may be only 7.3 miles but two thirds of it is this long straight fast road with no pavement, and no break points for refreshments or transport except 1 bus per week. Sounds dangerous and unpleasant. No thanks.
