Stuart Bain

10 Dec 2022 Autumn

This route is perfect for those with wheels!
No barriers or gates, mostly flat and on small country lanes.

The route follows route 4 on the cycle path network and starting from Tenby passes though St Florence and Lamphey.

When I walked all of the roads were quiet but I don’t know what it would be like in holiday session. There is one small section of less than 0.75 miles that follows The Ridgeway road. Although not busy - about 6 cars passed me, care must be taken.

Unique to my walk, there was a -6 frost the previous night so the route was treacherous and icy early on.

Would recommend a stop off at the Dial Inn at Lamphey nearing the end of the walk

Overall I’ve given the route a five because of the route being so accessible and perfect for wheels. As a Walker I found the route a little monotonous and wouldn’t recommend anyone to walk it.
