Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

04 Apr 2022A reasonable route keeping away from the main traffic flows although the long straight roads can appear boring if you don’t pay attention to places of interest and architecture along the way. The walker will be passing plenty of interesting shops and cafes so access to refreshments is not a problem especially along Drummond Street. There are still some building works in progress which might allow for diversions; for example passing through Regent Square might be an option and works as you arrive at Euston Station might require some deviations.

04 Apr 2022A really enjoyable walk which I started from Euston. I wondered how the route would cope with the disruption of the HS2 works at the side of the station but Drummond Street is fenced in specially. It's a route absolutely packed with interesting sights, great places to eat and drink and crosses famous streets, such as Harley Street and Baker Street. Marylebone is a great neighbourhood to walk through so I thought the walk lost something when it joined the main, Edgware Road. From then on, the traffic proves a distraction until the multitude of pavements and crossings deliver you to Paddington Station. Overall though, I'd recommend it. Direct, safe, and very interesting.

12 Jan 2022Perfectly good Slow Ways route. I walked this route from Euston to Paddington and enoyed it quite a bit!
It was drawn perfectly around Euston Station despite the HS2 construction, and it did a pretty good job sticking to quieter streets and crossing at only safe crossing points. Lots of interesting neighborhourhoods to explore as I made my way across London!.
