Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

25 Jun 2022This is a good route, and although I've also walked between these places many times, I'd never thought myself to go this way. Very little greenery though.

11 Mar 2022These are two places I've walked between many times before so it's not as if I had no opinion prior to this walk, but every decision made about how to route it, I could not fault. It's a really direct, safe and straightforward route that makes the most of some quieter streets whilst passing some really interesting places. It links with transport, it does everything a Slow Way should. This was the last of 5 walks I'd done since starting in Tooting that morning. If it was possible, I was hoping that I could get a drink at the excellent Euston Tap before catching my train home. Imagine my delight when I discovered that it's on the very last section of the walk. It is the icing on a five star cake!.

22 Jan 2022I walked this route from Oxford Circus to Euston and I enjoyed it. It’s a pretty simple walk, following quieter cross-streets as it zig-zags across Fitzrovia. Navigation was easy and the routing was accurate. Solid route.

03 May 2021Good route avoiding crowded Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road. If struggling to cross Great Portland Street on Riding House Street, there is a zebra crossing at Langham Street (one street north of the route). Similarly, there is a safe crossing over New Cavendish Street at Great Titchfield Street (one street east of the route).
