Report

A good, straightforward route, even on a wet day. The route up the Chevin is steep, as others have said, but the views are a good reward and the bridleway on to Yeadon is easy walking. Can get muddy in places due to high footfall.

Report

Excellent walk between the two towns on a good bridleway. Taking in the top the The Chevin with extensive views over both Airedale to the south and Wharfedale to the north. The climb down through The Chevin Forest Park can be slippery in wet weather.

Report

This is an enjoyable walk through a variety of landscapes. A relatively short and direct route from Yeadon to Otley. It is well signposted and on clear paths, through a mixture of gravel paths, pastureland and a steep descent through the woodland down the Chevin into Otley. This includes flights of steps and some rough ground. This is a pleasant and picturesque walk.

A relatively easy route, mostly on good paths and tracks and with great views. Quite a steep descent down into Otley.

There's a good cafe and public toilets at the White House, half way down Otley Chevin.
