Walked OOC to Kilburn.
Of course the OOC end isn’t finished yet - the route finishes/connects up with other Slow Ways at or around where the canal towpath reaches the A4000. There is a flag against this route to highlight the issue, but that doesn’t stop it being a good enough route overall.

Route goes along the canal towpath - plenty of fast cyclists - and then comes up by the big Sainsburys at Ladbroke Grove.
The rest is pavement - some busy road and some residential. My eye was caught by the Linen House on Kilburn Lane (photo), a quick search told me about the laundry businesses which serviced the middle class residents in what would have been a brand new residential area in the 19th century.

Decent enough urban route, points off for OOC being wonky, and the slightly rough and ready towpath experience.

I walked from Kilburn to near Old Oak Common. An odd one to review as you cannot access the rail hub yet, and you end up by the canal. It is a good route, however, and you can continue along the canal to various places (Wemkil uses to same path for example) and it passes close by to other stations.
The route starts through residential city streets and joins the canal. Step free but not Steep free, one bridge is 28% . Good paved paths all the way.
A pleasant walk.

I walked this route from Kilburn to Old Oak Common.

This route has two halves: one is from Kilburn to the canal, and then the second is along the canal. Both are lovely.

On the Kilburn half, the route mainly sticks to quiet residential areas, and I just loved the architecture of the buildings. Kilburn really has a lot to explore and discover!

The canal, of course, is lovely. The towpath is paved but not always even, and some of the bridges are steeply ramped. I encountered a few cyclists but all were very respectful.

Just note you can’t access Old Oak Common. Instead, I took the bridge just past Old Oak Common to get on the train at Willesden Junction, which was about 10 minutes away.

This is quite a nice walk. Along the Grand Union Canal for about half of it, and the other have are through a residential area. The only hairy part is the now messed up Harrow Road/Ladbroke Grove junction, which was much nicer for pedestrians before the council redid it in spring 2021.

I would probably also walk along Brondesbury Villas instead of Brondesbury Road, but that's just a small nit.
