Description
A more southerly option to Morexe2. It avoids the B3222. It does however miss out on the beautiful Teign valley. But is mostly in fine countryside

20 Oct 2022An enjoyable, if hilly route. This alternative route crosses the A30 using a pedestrian footbridge at Ide. This avoids sections of the B3212 which are not pleasant for walking. It does however continue south of the Teign Valley and much of it on roads. When I walked it, these roads were very quiet, and the walking was always safe and pleasant. It does have stiles and steps which cannot be avoided. The footpath sections were mostly well marked and passed through some very pleasant countryside.
