This route might be quite challenging for some. Some steep steps getting out of Folkestone onto The North Downs. But worth it for some great views. I couldn’t find the footpath to the left, just after Little Dane Farm on Ellington Lane. It appeared to be totally blocked off. So I carried on up the road and took a different footpath after Ellington Farm that soon joined up with the route.
