Description
I have taken Harriet's suggestion from her review of Louepp One.
This route goes through Epping Forest and therefore much greener.
Take Louepp One in Winter and the unlit, muddier Louepp Two in summer

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

04 Sep 2022 (edited 05 Sep 2022)This route is good, but the ways in and out of Epping Forest aren't quite plotted accurately. I would agree it's not worth adding another route option to fix, except one already exists! Definitely recommend following Louepp three, which is accurately plotted in the places where this one is not.

04 Sep 2022 (edited 05 Sep 2022)Finding the correct path both when you enter and leave Epping Forest isn’t completely obvious but not really enough warrant a remapping of the route.
The paths through Epping Forest are wide and well looked after. You’ll be sharing them with few cyclists, especially at the weekends so be aware of that.
A fair amount of this walk is uphill. There’s one viewpoint as you approach the M25 which sadly isn’t the glorious payoff you would hope for.
This was my first time in Epping Forest and whilst this route didn’t blow me away it was pleasant enough.

26 Mar 2022I had difficulty getting the route file to open and so have created a new GPS file on LOUEPP3 and added more information about the route there, as I walk it frequently. (Slow Ways have been informed about the file issue)
This is a great route, which is good during daylight hours all the year round. Yes it can be muddy in places and you need to go suitability equippedand with adequate drink and sustainence, as there is none on the majority of the route.
The forest can change considerably in appearance over the year so I recommend you take a means of establishing your GPS position with you as it is full of paths and it is quite easy to get off route without some means of checking where you are.
You can leave the route and join public transport at Golding's Hill, where there is a bus service, should you feel the need to.

26 Mar 2022Probably one of the nicest ones I've walked so far, from Epping to Laughton. It mostly follows the "Green Ride" in Epping Forest, and it was not muddy at all. The path is a bit higher, with water runoff possibilities so I can't see it even ever getting very muddy. The route is a little imprecise when going over the M25 (in a tunnel) but that was easy to correct for. The only impassible part was near the end where the Green Ride joins Earl's Path. Taking the shortcut around the lake was a *bad* idea. I don't think they would prefer us to walk there at all.
