Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

18 Aug 2024I walked this route starting from Longbridge. It is an extremely pleasant walk through lovely countryside, skirting a reservoir crossing the Worcester Birmingham canal - a varied and interesting walk. It starts and ends near to public transport and shops and is a straightforward, easy walk with a couple of stiles and steps,. For those arriving in Alvechurch who are continuing by train I can thoroughly recommend The Weighbridge Inn just beyond the station!.

18 Aug 2024A very easy and relaxing walk which we started from Longbridge. Passes through some lovely countryside. Only slight concern is some road walking just outside of Alvechurch, which required care but is fairly brief. Definitely the best way to walk between Longbridge and Alvechurch! Steps and stiles.
